Aaron Thesing is an Outdoor Lifestyle Blogger who specializes in hunting, fishing, camping; who loves traveling, nature photography, and backyard barbecues. Originally from La Crescent, Minnesota, Aaron went to Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and after graduating with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, moved to Black River Falls. After a couple of years living there and making many friends in the process, he headed south to Sparta to spend time with his aging Grandfather before he passed.

Aaron worked for two separate law enforcement agencies locally as a police officer, and in 2017 stepped away from that profession, as he always looked for something more than the weight of a badge on his shirt and his heart. In 2020 he made the decision to start recording his own hunting adventures, and everything that goes along with them, a dream he has had since he was a just a young boy from Minnesota.

In his spare time Aaron loves conducting ballistics research trying to fine tune powder charges for his muzzleloader and learning more about mil-dot measurements. He is a three time State Champion in the Bench Press, and former State Record holder with USA Powerlifting, and lately he has been studying to upgrade his State Referee License to the National License. He gives back to USA Powerlifting by supporting local lifting events held by High Schools and Open Meets across Wisconsin and Minnesota and sees it as a worthy cause paying it forward, as others once did for him. A little known fact about Aaron is he was very active in the National FFA Organization in High School, earning his Wisconsin State FFA Degree through Urban Cranberry Production, and was one of the youngest growers in the state for his High School years.

When not at work, Aaron can be found at his cabin in West Central Wisconsin hanging with his best friend Scott and Brother-in- Law Josh, planning, prepping, hunting, shooting, planting food plots, clearing dead trees, or even enjoying the warmth of a bon fire after a hard days work.
